    1. They usually start to produce pre milk at about 5 months pregnant. The real milk comes in about 24-36 hours after birth.The body will keep producing milk for up to 3 years if the mother breast feeds.The milk will dry up in about 2-3 Weeks after birth if she chooses not to breast feed the baby.
